As President of the SCIT(COCIS) at Makerere University and a nationally recognized student leader, Kidega was at the forefront of flagging off Huawei’s ground-breaking initiative. The competition, which attracted over 800 IT students from universities across Uganda, was a rare opportunity for young people to gain access to free, world-class training and certification in fields such as Routing & Switching, Cloud Computing, Data Centers, and more.
