Greening Uganda, One Tree at a Time:

Greening Uganda, One Tree at a Time:

In 2020, I was deeply honored to represent the 31st Uganda National Students’ Association (UNSA) National Executive Council as Chief Guest at a student-led environmental tree planting initiative in Kiboga–Hoima District. This inspiring project brought together determined young people committed to fighting climate change and promoting sustainable living across Uganda.

Together, we planted over 100 indigenous trees, contributing meaningfully to the Uganda Go Green Campaign and setting a powerful example of student-led environmental action. I salute the organizers and all participating youth for their vision, passion, and commitment to protecting our environment for future generations.

This project reaffirmed what we’ve always believed: the youth are not just the leaders of tomorrow—they are the solution drivers of today.
